Automatically create PDFs of your Confluence pages with Comala Document Management and Scroll PDFs Exporter

As we shared recently, we’re excited about the newly enhanced integration between Comala Document Management and K15t’s Scroll PDF Exporter that lets users automatically create PDFs of their Confluence pages. The integration can be used immediately, provided you have Scroll PDF Exporter and the latest version of Document Management.

The integration utilizes triggers inside of Document Management to generate PDFs. A trigger in your approval workflow listens for specific events and then automatically takes a PDF export of the current page. The exported PDF can be formatted to fit pre-determined templates, perfect for producing consistent documents. A common use case for this functionality is to capture a PDF of a page the moment it is approved with Comala Document Management. Teams in compliance environments will be happy to hear that these approval “snapshots” can be accessed at any time in a page’s attachments.

Our relationship with K15t made it an easy choice to utilize their app for this feature. K15t Product Manager, Thomas Rough, said this about our integration: “At K15t, we think that users of both Comala Document Management and Scroll PDF Exporter will love the new changes being introduced. By enabling users to action a PDF export when a specific workflow event occurs, users of both apps gain even more control and flexibility within their current workflow setups and will experience so much added value in Confluence. This new functionality is another example of successful collaboration between the apps, and we look forward to further improvements in the future.”

Both Comala Document Management and Scroll PDF Exporter are available for Confluence Server and Data Center. You can try each of them for free for thirty days; just visit the Atlassian Marketplace to get started.
