Restrict powerful macros to only trusted users, groups, or spaces
Macro Security for Confluence allows only trusted users and groups to edit the content containing restricted macros or disable macros for entire spaces altogether. The resulting rendered macro content is still viewable by other Confluence users.
You can grant or restrict access to individual macros or more granular macro capabilities, called parameters. For instance, admins can limit access to the entire “SQL query” macro or to just a specific connected SQL database.
It is also easy to set up macro restrictions using a configuration screen with smart drop-downs and picklists that autofill with your desired macros, macro parameters, users, groups, and spaces.
