Easily render Markdown content on your Confluence pages

Markdown for Confluence provides macros that render Markdown content on Confluence pages. The Markdown content can be entered directly in the body of any of the Markdown macros, from an attachment, or a URL.

Markdown for Confluence helps teams to:

  • Render Markdown syntax with popular extensions such us Bitbucket, GitHub, GitLab and provide compatibility with many current usage scenarios
  • Embed HTML restricted to authorized users via Macro Security for Confluence (Server/Data Center only)
  • Enable or disable Javascript usage in Markdown macros
  • Modify output with advanced find and replace capabilities that support regex patterns
  • Define newline wrap and enable or disable HTML tags
